Welcome
myGMRS.com is the reincarnated version of "The Repeater Resource," a short-term internet project with the intent of listing GMRS repeaters in the United States. As more and more GMRS licensees began to use the site, it was time to expand the project into a full-featured website.
This new site was created in September 2006 with a few features. myGMRS is constantly evolving and will never be "finished" anytime soon. I welcome the comments and criticisms of all users. Enjoy!

Latest Updates
| LINE A AND LINE C: January 18, 2010 | |
| Thanks to a great suggestion by Darren Blum, I now added the FCC-designated Line A and Line C to the repeater map. If you're as familiar with the Part 95 Rules as you should be, you'll remember that if you're operating North of Line A or East of Line C, you're subject to certain limitations which must be observed. This gives a great visual reference which is accurate to the FCC's definitions. Their map is small and hard to determine if you're subject to the restrictions. Thanks, Darren! | |
| WEEKLY DIGESTS FIXED: January 04, 2010 | |
| Thanks to KAF8457 in the forums, I realized there was a problem with the weekly digests. I tracked the problem down and made the necessary corrections and sent out a test today at 9:15am EST. Everything appears to work fine now. Thanks Jay! I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays. Happy New Year!

| NEW CHANGES: July 30, 2009 | |
| It's been a while since I posted any updates. Things have been pretty stable so major fixes haven't been warranted over the past few months. A few new changes to announce: At the suggestion of one of our users, Stacy, I added a way to disable repeater coverage circles on the Google Maps. This should eliminate the problem where too many coverage circles overlaid will block out the map below them. An even more minor change is to the Networks page. You can now sort networks in both ascending and descending order, in addition to sorting by the number of repeaters assigned to a network. | |
| 1000 USERS!: March 29, 2009 | |
| Thanks to WQIG533 for being our 1000th user! This day came a bit sooner than I could ever hope, but I'm very thrilled that the site has been growing so fast lately. When you consider how few GMRS licenses there are, then figure out how many of them are actively being used, then eliminate the ones who don't use repeaters (only bubblepacks for example), then you'll see how small of a pool we're drawing from. Thanks to everyone who keeps this site alive! | |
