Welcome

myGMRS.com is the reincarnated version of "The Repeater Resource," a short-term internet project with the intent of listing GMRS repeaters in the United States. As more and more GMRS licensees began to use the site, it was time to expand the project into a full-featured website.

This new site was created in September 2006 with a few features. myGMRS is constantly evolving and will never be "finished" anytime soon. I welcome the comments and criticisms of all users. Enjoy!

SERVER MIGRATION COMPLETE:   April 24, 2010
We've completed a migration from one server to a much larger server that can better serve the needs of this website and other websites I manage. The migration was supposed to be phased out over a week or two, but the other websites were having no issues due to the move. Because of this, I decided it was best to move myGMRS.com ASAP and tackle any issues now rather than later. I'm happy to report that everything is up and running and no errors have been found so far. If you do notice any issues, please contact me so I can look into it.

LINE A AND LINE C:   January 18, 2010
Thanks to a great suggestion by Darren Blum, I now added the FCC-designated Line A and Line C to the repeater map. If you're as familiar with the Part 95 Rules as you should be, you'll remember that if you're operating North of Line A or East of Line C, you're subject to certain limitations which must be observed. This gives a great visual reference which is accurate to the FCC's definitions. Their map is small and hard to determine if you're subject to the restrictions. Thanks, Darren!
